AONB Village housing allocation confirmed in Canterbury Local Plan Inspectors report

The draft Canterbury Local Plan has been found ‘sound’ and legally compliant and can be viewed here.

J & J Design is pleased to announce that following five years of working with the Canterbury Planning Team and representation to the Inspector at the Examination in Public, the residential Site Allocation for Barham Court Farm has been confirmed.  A Landscape Character and Visual Capacity Study prepared by Lloyd Bore Associates indicated that residential redevelopment of the redundant farmstead would not cause unacceptable harm to the Barham Conservation Area or Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
