Following the grant of planning permission for an industrial unit building (B2 use) with ancillary office space (B1 Use), which will provide three individual two storey units, J & J Design are working with the landowners to discharge the planning conditions and the detailed design.
The site is in an established Employment Area in Cambridgeshire which contributes to the local economy and provides on-going employment opportunities in the area. In this instance the proposed development was acceptable in principle, subject to other material planning considerations.
Conditions were attached to the planning permission including further details of Tree Protection, additional Landscaping and Ecological Enhancement. Reports and plans prepared by Argenta Tree Surveys and The Landscape Partnership were submitted to the Council to discharge the planning conditions.
Work has now commenced on the detailed design including the structural design in conjunction with consulting engineers in order to obtain Building Regulations approval before work commences on site.
