We are excited to present an opportunity for a skilled and ambitious Planner / Senior Planner to become a part of our dynamic and proactive team based in our Bedford office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct independent research, solve complex problems, collaborate with diverse clients and members of the community, and effectively communicate your case in both office and public settings, including planning appeals.

As a Planner or Senior Planner, you will have gained valuable experience working in the public or private sectors within a planning context. Your expertise will extend to leading a variety of projects.

You must possess at least 5 years of experience and demonstrate excellent project management skills, as you will be responsible for taking on and overseeing both major and minor projects (with support from our partners).

Planners from a public or private sector background are encouraged to apply.

Essential Criteria:

Experienced in liaising with Local Planning Authorities and statutory consultees together with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current planning legislation.

Ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines.

Strong verbal/oral communication skills, able to identify key issues and appropriate and effective tactics.

Strong IT and database skills.

Strong organisation skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK. Salary range between £35k-50k, based on your experience and subject to negotiation. Generous car allowance.

20 days annual leave entitlement, plus 8 paid bank holidays.

Annual variable bonus subject to company profits.
