The Cambridge – Milton Keynes – Oxford growth arc (CaMkOx) is underpinned by transport proposals including the East West Rail upgrade and the Oxford-Cambridge Expressway.

This includes the upgrade of the Marston Vale line in Bedfordshire. Proposed residential and commercial developments in the area will benefit from greater accessibility and sustainable modes of travel.

The Expressway proposals include a new road from J13 of the M1 through to Oxford. This will result in shortened travel times and improved connections east-west across the country. Local businesses will also benefit from greater accessibility for staff.

The Housing goal is to deliver one million homes by 2050 including up to 5 new towns or villages.

New towns will include residential, commercial, retail and community facilities providing construction prospects and a boost to the local economies.

New towns and villages will give openings for other small scale developments and produce opportunities for house building on all scales to achieve the targets.

Here at J & J Design we are well equipped to assist landowners or developers with planning applications for these development proposals.

Commercial growth will also be needed to link housing with jobs and ensure sustainability.

There will be a number of lucrative opportunities for local people, business and landowners to capitalise on these proposals during implementation.

Would an extension to your existing facility assist with the growth which will flow out from increased opportunities in this economic corridor? Or would you be better placed in building a purpose built facility?

Your Aspirations can be met with our Planning Solutions, and here at J & J Design we specialise in helping people achieve their planning and development aspirations.
