A Lawful Development Certificate has confirmed an existing commercial building has been used for Class B2 Use.

Sufficient evidence was submitted to assure the local planning authority that the building had been used as a vehicle repair workshop in excess of ten years.  Copies of previous records clearly demonstrated the use and the Council were satisfied that on the balance of probability the use had been undertaken for a period of at least ten years.

The Certificate has also confirmed that the proposed reuse of the building for food manufacturing also falls within Class B2 of the The Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987.
